Slackware on a Laptop

I reinstalled Slackware on my laptop, I needed to install different versions of applications and just wanted to start from scratch. I am now running:

PHP v5.2.3
MySQL v5.0.41
Subversion v1.4.4
Postgres v8.2.4
Apache v2.0.59
Python v2.4.4
Ruby v1.8.6
Scribus v1.3.3.7
Sawmill v7.2.9
Firefox v2.0.0.4
Komodo Edit v4.1.0-27899
KCHMViewer v3.0
KSmoothDock v4.3
YaKuake v2.7.5
SlackIns v3.0
KDE Crystal Diamond 2.5 Slackware Mod
Custom 2.6.17.13 Kernel
IPW2200 Firmware v3.0
Zend Studio v5.5.0
Webmin v1.350

The rest is all stock, other than Wallpapers and some other individual icons. A couple things I ran into that I thought I would share. The ipw2200 firmware needs to go into “/lib/firmware” and in my case the only file I needed was ipw2200-bss.fw. You can get the firmware at the ipw2200 Sourceforge page.

I also had some trouble with power management. I recompiled the kernel, but when I go into suspend I cannot recover from it. If anyone can tell me what is missing I would appreciate it.
