Getting ready for the move to Atlanta

Posted December 26, 2007 at 02:12am in Georgia

It is now December 26th and in one week I will be picking up my Uhaul for my move to Atlanta. I am not going into details until I get down there, but if you are in Atlanta and like BMWs, Linux, computers in general, Windows, the gym or interested in any of those hit me up I’m looking for people to know.

That is the main reason I haven’t been writing as much, I have had interviews and had to go find an apartment and just running around getting ready. It was nice though, my friend Roger Rustad was in Atlanta for over a month on a contract so I got to hang out with him. I haven’t mentioned Roger I don’t think, but he works a lot with Nagios and is a great person to talk to. I don’t meet a lot of techies like Rog and its a damn shame because he is one you can have a real tech conversation with. He is interested in what you have to say and what you know and if you are unfamiliar with what he is discussing he can explain it well and doesn’t look down on you for not knowing.

I should also have a new article on Linux.com coming out soon on the latest Zend Studio, which is very good in my opinion.
