Moved to Thunderbird
I have commented in the past about why I would not move to Thunderbird as my email client, but I finally made the move. My main reason was contact management, Outlook had a much better interface for organizing contacts and I didn’t think I could do without it. I plan on getting the 6700 PDA phone and I will start using that for my contact management since it will be with me all the time.
I am very happy with Thunderbird, there are a few things I dislike, but all in all I have more control than Outlook, just worse contact management. I just remembered that I didn’t make subdirectories for multiple profiles in my structure, which is D:\Thunderbird\. I hope there aren’t a lot of files linked to that directory, sometimes files have the profile directory inserted, like some extensions. We’ll see in a few minutes.
