I HATE COMPUTERS

A friend had sent me a 200gb Western Digital a little more than a month ago to temporarily store files so I could properly sort them. A few weeks after having it, I reformatted the primary partition on another drive and reinstalled windows, after moving thousands of files onto the 200gb drive. When windows reinstalled I found that all the files moved were corrupt, since this was the most important information all archives were checked before moving them. Now after weeks of trying to use file recovery software, archive repair software, and every drive checking software I can find, the files cannot be recovered, they are POOCHED. It almost seems like the MFT of the 200gb drive was partially stored on the same drive as the operating system and when that was formatted all of the information was lost and fooked my files up. The last backup I had to CD was about a month before the incident, but even though I lost only a month worth of work it was probably one of the most important months in the past year. I’ll tell ya, I was in absolute shock when it happened, I reformatted again thinking it might have just been something else and after trying every possible way I could think of to recover the information I was lost, I didn’t know what I could do with a computer, the mouse looked like a plastic piece of shit with a red light.

Until I can redo all of the work I did during that month I will have to hold off on rewriting my blog, and this site will probably change a little because I lost all of my graphics for about 5 web sites, some I can duplicate, others I can’t.

My plans for San Diego have changed a little, I plan on driving to Florida to see a friend at the begining of November, then I plan on leaving for California a few weeks after I return to Virginia.
