Cabinet Updates
Last week I received my patch panel and got an amazing deal on a 1U UPS off eBay. The UPS is a Tripp Lite HTR07-1U, which has an MSRP of $599 and listed on Google for around $350. I was able to get it for $25 shipped, and according to the seller it is still in its original box, so thats about a 93% savings off the Google price. When that arrives I will be taking some more pictures, but I needed to get everything prepped so that I don’t have to keep reorganizing my cabinet. I did a layout in excel of the 45Us (btw, I thought it was 42U so I am happy to know I have 3 more U available) and made some decisions about what else I am putting in and where it will go. I can’t wait to buy my Cisco switch so the 1ft cables will be cleaner. As you can see I still havn’t found a case I want to put that old beige Dell in, which is currently my router/firewall.
