The reasons keeping me from moving to Thunderbird
I want to use Thunderbird as my primary email client, but there are a couple features I just cannot do without if I move from Outlook. The major one is the contact management; in Outlook you have the ability to assign categories and group them by the category. I also enjoy the interface that allows me to edit the contact information, I just wish it had a few more fields. I may end up having to write something myself, but I do not think I want to invest that much time into creating something as bug free as possible and as complex as I want it. I have tried ACT, but it creeps alone and while it has great features it just doesn’t perform as well as outlook does. I am going to play with Kontact, but that will involve me moving to Linux for my email which I cannot do at this time.
