You hate it now, but just wait

There are so many features in Windows I can remember stating that I hate, but then I need it and give nothing but praise. One feature is “Hide inactive icons”, which seemed like an annoyance at first. Then there was a day that I looked at my taskbar and more space was taken up by tray icons then taskbar buttons.

I am a huge multitasker and need my taskbar making this feature huge in my book. I have considered giving taskbar grouping a chance, but my problem with that is that I need quick access to taskbar items and clicking the group first is just one more step. Who knows maybe next week that will be the feature I love most.
