I just got off the phone with an Oracle rep. who has been very patient trying to get in touch with me over the past month or so. There are not enough companies that call you just to find out if you had any further questions about a product or service they offer.
One of the best support departments I have had the pleasure to work with was XioLink (Used to be RackMy). After inquiring about the options available for colocated server, I was contacted by one of their representatives via email who will occassionally check on the status of my needs, but only on or around dates we have agreed on.
While most of the experiences with these calls has been good. A well known SSL certificate company has been calling me constantly after I have repeatedly told them I am going to wait a few months before doing anything. Too much.

About 15 minutes ago I uploaded the rest of the web site and setup MySQL on the server. Since mysql is now installed I will be adding much more content.
In the past two months that I havn’t made any changes to the web site I’ve been doing more of the php thing as always and I started to learn Python. Python is a very cool language, I now know why so many people speak highly of it. On the Python Web Site there is a quote from ILM regarding their usage of Python.
“Python plays a key role in our production pipeline. Without it a project the size of Star Wars: Episode II would have been very difficult to pull off. From crowd rendering to batch processing to compositing, Python binds all things together,” said Tommy Burnette, Senior Technical Director, Industrial Light & Magic.
